This could be due to a heart attack which occurs when a blockage develops in the coronary artery and hamper the blood flow to the heart. You’re not alone; many people like you are still there who don’t even know that these could be the warning signs of a heart attack. A heart attack is as serious as it sounds.It matters in every second, so an early response can help limit the level of damage caused to the cardiac muscle. That’s why it’s of the extreme importance to recognize the signs of a heart attack quickly as they can often be irregular. You should know aboutrecognising these symptoms ofa heart attack immediately which can save lives. 1. The Chest Discomfort Most common heart attack symptom is chest pain or discomfortin the centre of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or that goes away and comes back. Along with Discomfort;pressure, heaviness, sharp pain, burning sensation or tightening in the chest also occurs, which is not relieved by resting or taking nitroglycerin." 2. Discomfort in other parts of the upper body This is the classic heart attack symptom which can include pain or discomfort in one orboth arms, jaw, neck, stomach and the back. A sign of a heart attackcould be the pain or pressure in the centre of your chest that spreads up into your throat or jaw, 3. Nausea, Indigestion, Heartburn, or Stomach Pain These symptoms can also happen during a heart attack unless having an upset stomach for other reasons. This type of symptomcan be more likely to experience by women than men. If you feel this way and you’re at risk for heart problems, so let a doctor find out what’s going on. 4. Feeling Dizzy or Lightheaded Losing balance or feeling faint for a moment can be due to a lot of things. But if you unexpectedly feel unstable and you also have chest discomfort or shortness of breath, call a doctor right away. 5. Getting Exhausted Easily Feeling fatigued or breathless after doing something which had no problem in the past can be a more significant symptom of a heart attack rather than little ache or pain. If you are experiencing an unexplained weakness or extreme exhaustion, especially women, then make an appointment with your doctor right away. 6. Snoring Snoring is normal while you snooze. However, a loud snoring occurs when you stop breathing for sometimes at night while you are sleepingthat sounds like a gasping or choking. This puts extra pressure on your heart which increases the chances of heart attack. 7. Irregular Heart Beat Tell your doctor if you are feeling like your heart is beating out of time for more than just a few seconds. 8. Excessive sweating or perspiration Breaking out in a cold sweat for no apparent reason along with any of these other symptoms could signal a heart attack. If you are experiencing any of these heart attack warning signs,don’t wait to get help and call an ambulance to get to a hospital right away. Don’t try to drive yourself. While you wait for the emergency services, pay attention to your body, stop all doings, sit or lie down. Also, keep in mind you can have a heart attack without chest pain. That’s particularly common among women. Women are somewhat more likely to experience some of the other common symptomslike shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, and back or jaw painthan men.
